Not every concrete floor is good candidate for Concrete Polishing
If you are planing to restore your old concrete floor at Outstanding floors Inc we recommend to look for this Points before
-What is the main use of the building commercial flooring, retail floor, grocery store flooring , restaurant floors , warehouse flooring
-Concrete have cracks and no matter what you do if you have the concrete exposed is going to look
-Holes we could fix it. but is very probable after filling x(1000) amount of holes in the old concrete surface some will fail or maybe not
-A hole ones are fix if you focus on it you will see the fix up , one way to hide more this hole are use staining concrete floor and this way the overall concrete polish floor will look with character and unique
- densifiers are important but the most important is the concrete polishing company you are hiring this companies are the ones in the field ,are the ones dealing with all the concrete variation around Us are the ones at the end going to be responsible for the finish concrete polishing product will be great if arquitects focus more on this.
And we will not see horror jobs done by non professional concrete polishing companies and the worts part they only are damaging the concrete polishing system name because they hire the wrong company "doit right is and art and take attention to details"
-If we are doing a retrofit of and old concrete floor and the look is very important we recommend do a test of the old concrete floor to make sure is not less than 3000 psi limit . Soft floors even after densified multiple times trend to ware out fast and super soft concrete will never look right plus will eat metal diamonds (our tools)
for this occations we recommend and overlayment system bond with epoxy and sand
-overlayment great options but we recommend the color in the poor mix .dye stains don't hold to well in overlayment floors
-for new projects we recommend concrete floors 4000 psi
